Christmas's Past - Day 25 - Christmas Day 2010

Here's the tree with all the gifts underneath - Santa was a busy boy!

PJ was very excited to see the train all setup and ready to play with.  Santa is so smart, bringing him a train!

We managed to get him away from the train long enough to get dressed & then move onto his Santa Stocking.
While we were waiting for my parents, Dean &Tanya to arrive, we moved upstairs to work on the gifts under the tree.

We also had lunch and then relaxed for a bit.

The table looked fantastic with its blue & silver table runner.  We all had our Christmas cracker and put on our silly hats.  It wouldn't be Christmas without it.  PJ managed to keep his on long enough for a photo...but it took a lot of tries to get the photo taken before he pulled it off.  The food was fantastic - turkey, potatoes, gravy, stuffing, carrots, brussel sprouts etc!

My brother doesn't come to visit very often, so PJ is a little afraid of him (but knows who he is and can name him in photos).  After a long LONG time of trying not to approach PJ, Dean started playing peek-a-boo with him and chasing him down the hallway - finally, Uncle Dean is fun...just when its time to leave (and for him to go back to his city).

Christmas's Past - Day 24 - Christmas Eve 2010

On Christmas Eve, we had my parents, GJA's mom, my brother (Dean) and his girlfriend (Tanya) as well as Miriam (and her niece Leanne) and Jocelynne over for supper.

PJ, of course, was scared to come down stairs once he realized it was more than my parents that were over.

Here are some photos from the visitors before and after supper.

After PJ went to sleep, we helped Santa with the stockings and putting gifts under the tree.  PJ can't keep away from wrapped parcels, so we had to keep them hidden until that night.

Christmas's Past - Day 25 - Christmas Day 2009

Santa has come and filled our stockings! I made GJA & Lee's stocking this year. Mine was made by my grandmother.

PJ was pretty happy with the gifts from Santa - although he would shake his head 'no' when I asked if Santa brought him gifts. Still not a fan of Santa.

Here's our tree with loaded with gifts Christmas morning.

This marble run was the most played with item - the adults loved it and GJA wants more pieces so he can play with it more!

We had a wonderful turkey dinner at my parent's place. Here's their tree and beautiful table!

PJ let me put this paper crown on just long enough for a couple of photos...then he ripped it as he took it off.

PJ wasn't so sure of Uncle Dean and sheepishly looked at him all day (and the night before). He knew who he was, but wasn't too sure what he was going to do. Once he started tickling and lifting him up, then they were best buds!

We normally have family photos by the tree in our matching Christmas PJ's - but PJ wouldn't let us put his on him...so instead of him screaming for photos, we decided to not bother with them....darn!
