2015 Day 1 - Manifesto

SO...I'm even LATER this year...is Dec 27...last year I started on Dec 22...opps!

Anyway, I was in Mexico again the 1st week of December and when I returned...busy with courses, school volunteering, present purchasing etc!

I love Christmas so even though I'm really behind on this, I'm going to do it anyway...may take forever, but I want to do it!

Here I am on Dec 1 this year.

2014 Day 1 - Manifesto

I'm really REALLY late this year...day 1 is being composed on Dec 22...eek!

The reason I'm doing this journal is because I'm still a Christmas freak & I really enjoyed it so much last year, that I need to do it again.  Hopefully I'll be able to complete it this year.

The reason I am so late is because on December 1, I was in Mexico!  I turned 50 during the year and my girlfriends also turned 50 in 2014 - so we decided to treat ourselves once this year.  We were at a 5 star all inclusive resort in Punta de Mita, Mexico (an hour north from Puerto Vallarta).

On this particular day, we spent it relaxing at the ocean in the morning, then spent the rest of the day by the pool....with various eating and drinking stops along the way.  I did, however, go to the Zumba class at 4 pm.

Ahhhh - so relaxing!

This is a Christmas journal, so I should mention, a week before we left for paradise, I DID setup out tree and mantle!

2013 Day 1 - Manifesto

Christmas - My favourite time of year and I've always wanted to record the joy.

I 100000% love Christmas - lights, smells, decorations, music, food, Santa, purchasing/wrapping/giving gifts...LOVE IT ALL!!!!!

The 1st sign that Christmas was coming was when they started to setup the Santa area at our local mall.  It was a brand NEW setup and compared to the garish red/white they had last year, it looked hopeful from the get-go!  White, blue, silver...MY COLORS!  The prior setup was such that you couldn't SEE Santa from anywhere other than being right at him and this doesn't work for us as the kid is scared of him and I want him to LOOK at Santa a few times, so I really hoped this setup was better.

AND - this is how it ended up looking = blue, white, silver - fantastic!
